Proficient in the use of custodial equipment and cleaning chemicals. Possess knowledge of OSHA standards relating to assignment. Possess effective oral and written communication skills. Ability to assume assigned responsibilities and work harmoniously with others. Ability to organize and prioritize. Clean and sanitize restrooms and dressing rooms to include all fixtures, faucets, drain pipes, mirrors, commodes, sinks, urinals, window sills, ledges, air vents, floors and walls daily. Clean windows, window ledges, furniture and equipment in all assigned areas daily. Sweep or vacuum and mop hard surfaces of assigned rooms and corridors daily. Vacuum and spot clean assigned carpeted rooms and hallways daily. Empty and clean trash cans in all assigned areas daily. Assist in the supervision of the physical security of the facility as required. Provide emergency cleanup for spills and mishaps throughout the facility.

(6) Assists children in getting on the bus and to assigned seats. 
(7) Ensures all passengers are properly restrained while riding the bus. 
(8) Maintains order and behavior of children on the bus so the driver will not be distracted from safe driving. 
(9) Maintains a positive, calm attitude and a soft voice while on the job. 
(10) Protects all children from physical punishment or verbal abuse by anyone in any program activity, and immediately reports any such incident to driver. 
(11) Assists the children in getting off the bus safely. 
(12) Releases children only to persons listed on the Child Release Form, and requires identification from any unknown or new person on the list. 
(13) Notifies the driver of concerns regarding the children?s health, behavior, or emotional state. 
(14) Learns bus route and makes the substitute driver aware of it when necessary.
